Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGERALD (GERRY) CROTEAU September 22, 1937 - July 17, 2008 Peacefully, with family at his side, Gerald passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2008 at the St. Boniface Hospital. Gerald leaves to mourn his loving family; his children, Nicole (Lloyd), Lynne (Glen), René, Robert, Ginette (Ron) and Murielle (Christian); grandchildren, Lindsay, Mikayla and Christian, brothers Lucien (Bertille), Père Pierre (M. Afr.), Roger and André (Florence); sister Pauline (Denis), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father Emile, his mother Maria (Mulaire) and his brother Raymond. Gerald enjoyed spending time with his family at the cottage in St. Malo, MB and golfing with his friends. He will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. The family wishes to thank the staff at the St. Boniface Hospital for their care and compassion. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Parish, 778 Archibald Street, with Father Ronald Léger, csv, officiating. Interment of the cremated remains will take place at a later date at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Missionaries of Africa, C/O Père Pierre Croteau, m. afr. 228 Hamel Ave Box 23, St. Boniface, MB R2H 3B4 or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
