JEANNETTE STILL It is with deep sorrow and love in our hearts that we announce the comfortable and peaceful passing of Jeannette Still in her home surrounded by her family on July 18, 2008 at the age of 57. Jeannette leaves this world for a place of eternal happiness to be with her God and those she loves in heaven, including her son Corrie, her brother Leo and her parents Alice and Tony. Jeannette dedicated herself to her family and being a stay-at-home mom. By far the most important thing to her was the special bond and love shared between family members. She taught us all how integral it is to have a warm, welcoming home filled with laughter, joy and celebrations. Jeannette was a wonderful listener and opened her home and heart to not only family, but friends as well. Jeannette also had a very special love for animals and throughout her life had numerous cats and dogs she deeply cared for. She was truly an inspiration and family role model to all those who were blessed enough to have known her. In passing she leaves behind a large and loving family of children, grandchildren and her devoted husband Wally. The time spent at the family home, especially Sundays will forever be remembered and cherished. We love you HIGH TO THE SKY , and you will truly be missed by all those whose hearts you have touched. The family would like to give a special thanks to Regent Park Pharmacy, Dr. McKay, Margaret and his other staff at the Health Sciences Centre for all their help and support. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society or the Blessed Sacrament Parish Building Fund. Funeral will take place at Blessed Sacrament Parish, 710 Roanoke St. on Tuesday July 22, 2008 at 1:00 p.m.
