JUDY ANNE BOVAIRD COUGHLAN Peacefully at home on July 18, 2008, after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Judy Anne Bovaird Coughlan. Judy will lovingly be remembered by her husband of 38 years, Gary Coughlan; her six children, Gary (Calla), Angela (Thomas Gatchell), Patrick (Carrie), Tracey (Ben Zacharias), Bridget, and Brenda (Allan); her 15 grandchildren; surviving mother (Elsie Bovaird) and nine siblings, (John, Mary-Ellen, Sharon, Jackie, Michael, Timothy, Joseph, Perry, and Daniel). Born in Saint John, New Brunswick, Judy was an inspiration to everyone around her. With a smile that could melt your heart, Judy was known for her fearless and relentless love of life. Living life to the fullest, Judy never let anything slow her down and get in her way of enjoying all that life had to offer. Whether it was coaching and/or playing baseball (a sport she loved), attending the numerous activities of her children and grandchildren, starting her own business, she did it all, while fighting cancer for 27 years. Judy was a fighter and that made her our hero; a beautiful woman unlike any other. To our beloved mother, thank you for all your patience, your unending love for your children and grandchildren, and all that you gave for our family. Prayers will be held on Tuesday, July 22 at 7:00 p.m. in the Wheeler Funeral Chapel, 211 Regent Avenue West at Bond. Funeral service will follow on Wednesday, July 23 at 11:00 a.m., also in the Wheeler Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Judy's name to Cancer Care Manitoba.
