JOHN CHARLES ROBERT MURRAY John Charles Robert Murray Passed away suddenly on Friday, July 18, 2008 surrounded by his loving family. He leaves to mourn his beloved wife Valerie (Freynet); his mother Wilma; his children, Gail, Brian (Lynn) and Carolyn Harris (Kyle). His grandchildren, Evan, Genevieve and Will. His sisters, Wendy Jansen (Frank) and Pat Muns (Rudy). His brothers-in-law Real (Irene) and Daniel (Kim). His nieces and nephews, Craig, Lindsay, Randy, Andrea, Paul, Rejean, Richard, Justin, Gage and Travis. Special friends Norm Ulyatt (Marion) and Lynne Kuryk. He was predeceased by his father Charles, sister-in-law Jackie and father-in-law Manny. John was born April 2, 1946 and grew up in Fort Rouge attending Churchill High school. He worked many years in the grain industry and was most recently employed as a bus driver for King Transport. No matter where John was, he was always able to bring laughter to those around him with his unique sense of humour. He was an active member of Legion Branch #90, and enjoyed playing darts, shuffleboard, curling and golf. John was a huge baseball fan, worked as an umpire, and often joked that he would have to suit up' for his favourite team the Blue Jays to show them how to win. John was a devoted husband, son, father, grandfather and friend and will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. The family wishes to express their thanks to Dr. Kumar and the ICU staff at St. Boniface Hospital for their care and compassion. I love you big time snooks Service will be held in Thompson in the Park Funeral Home at 1291 McGillivray Blvd. on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at 10 am. Immediately following, a reception will be held at Legion Branch #90.
