PHILIP CLARK It is with great sadness that the family of Philip Clark announces his sudden passing on July 18, 2008. He is survived by his wife Louise (Loulou), his children Peter, Aileen (Stéphane) and his beloved grandchildren Caleb and Sonia. Dad was a wonderful family man whose romantic spirit and loyal sense of duty made him loved by all. For 36 years, he worked as an Associate Professor at the University of Manitoba. Passionate about teaching, Dad always spoke of his love for French and Spanish, and of the deep spirituality of his colleagues at Saint-Paul's College. Dad also spent many hours poolside as a volunteer with Swim Manitoba and Canada. His love for the sport was only surpassed by his passion for travel, especially with his dear Loulou, and his role as Gaddy to the grandchildren. We will miss his smile, his wit and his sincere faith in humanity. Adieu cher Philip, Dad, Gaddy. Veille sur ceux que tu as tant aimés sur Terre et qui t'aiment toujours tant. Réserve-nous une place près de toi dans les bras du Seigneur. Funeral mass at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 25 at Our Lady of Victory Church, 254 Arnold Street. Reception and celebration of Philip's life will follow at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodière Blvd. A private family interment will take place in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dr. Philip Clark's name to Saint-Paul's College Foundation Inc., (204) 474-9098. GLEN LAWN FUNERAL HOME 982-7550
