ADILIA SOUSA On July 20, 2008, Adilia passed away at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 50 years. Adilia is survived by her loving husband Jorge; daughter Jill (Tony); sons, Marco (Cara) and Jorge (Kristina); grandchildren, Hope, Cody, Anthony, Troy, Charity, Rachael, Faith and Kayla-Rose; mother Avelina; brother Daniel (Connie); brother-in-law Americo (Mariana); uncle Odemiro (Humberta) Silva and many cousins, nephews, nieces and other relatives in the Azores. She was predeceased by her father Daniel Silva. Many thanks to the Palliative Care staff at St. Boniface Hospital for all the loving care and support they gave Adilia and family. Prayers will be said on Tuesday, July 22 at 7:00 p.m. in the Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 23 at 11:00 a.m. in Blessed John XXIII Roman Catholic Church, 3390 Portage Avenue. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery. It's been 12 years since you passed and I miss you more than anything. You were the rock to our family and I miss the times we shared. I'm sad that you aren't here with us today but you are in a better place. It has been four years since you past away, I will always miss you. You were such a loving & wonderful person. Your granddaughters will always hear story's of you of how you were & how you made the best coffee cake ever lol. Forever and always we will love you!
