ANDY DAVIES July 13, 1918 July 20, 2008 Peacefully, on Sunday, July 20, 2008 Andy Davies passed away at the age of 90 with his loving family by his side. Andy leaves behind his loving wife Nellie, of 60 years, his children Bonnie (John), Bev (Brent); his grandchildren Krista (Dave), Cheryl (Travis), Laura (Mark): great-grand-children, Tyler, Kate and Jared. He also leaves his brother Milbourne (Shirley), sister-in-law Sophie Zahranchek and brother-in-law Tom Fryza, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Andy was born in Meadowvale, Manitoba July 13, 1918 and continued to reside there until his final days. Dad did many things throughout his life. He worked the family farm and later at CN where he was employed for many years. Upon retirement Dad's life did not slow down. He was always busy with the garden and the yard work and wherever his handyman skills were needed. Dad's happiest times were spent with his family. They meant the world to him and he meant the world to us. His grand-children and later his great-grandchildren became the light of his life. His passing will leave a huge hole in all our lives. A service celebrating Dad's life will be held at Green Acres Funeral Home and Cemetery on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at 2:00 p.m., interment following service in Green Acres Cemetery. Lunch will follow at the Dugald Community Hall. Dad is at peace. His life is complete. We will miss him forever and only wish he could have stayed longer with us.
