ALEXANDER (CASEY) JOHN WENZOSKI On July 18, 2008 with his family by his side, Alexander (Casey) John Wenzoski surrendered his spirit to be with the love of his life Rita Wenzoski (nee Perreault). Casey, as all who knew him is survived by his daughters, Sherry Carr, Shellie Powers (Rob), Michele Jowsey (Rick) and Mona Dee (Leonard); grandchildren, Jamie and Darren, Jennifer, Sarah and Dwayne, Amy; cousin Maria and caregiver Yvonne Richardson. Casey was predeceased by his wife Rita Wenzoski, February 13, 1999. Casey was born in Beausejour, MB June 13, 1937. Dad had a restless soul, living in many different provinces, until he and Rita discovered Ile des Chenes, Dad had his welding shop and his birds to keep his soul happy. Dad and Rita loved to travel and spent many winters Down South , in his later years he was confined to The Golden Door nursing home. Dad's wishes were to be cremated and to have his ashes scattered with those of his beloved Rita. The family wishes to express their deep and heartfelt thanks to the many caregivers at The Golden Door for their tender care of our Dad. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 1531 Pembina Hwy. on Thursday, July 24 at 10:00 a.m. Flowers and cards are gratefully declined and if so desired, donations may be made to The Canadian Diabetes Association.
