FRANCIS CLAYTON BEAN On July 23, 2008 at the Selkirk General Hospital, Francis Bean, aged 82 years, of Selkirk, MB, beloved husband of Winnifred. Francis lived his early years in Gypsumville and Swan Lake. He married Winnifred Perrin in Virden in 1950 and they lived in various places, including Winnipeg, and retired to Selkirk nine years ago. He was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed camping, fishing, golfing, curling and spending as much time as possible with his family. He was predeceased by his son Nelson in 2003 and leaves surviving his loving wife of 58 years, Winnie, a son Irwin (Linda) of St. Andrews, a daughter-in-law Beverley of Camp Morton, grandchildren, Nelson, Christopher, Jennifer and Stacey, a brother Ron (Margaret), and several great-grandchildren and step-great-randchildren. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 25 at 2:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk with Rev. Brad Elliott officiating. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
