ANNA MARGARETA GUMBRILL (JOHNSON) 1919 - 2008 Peacefully on July 22, 2008 at the Lakeshore General Hospital in Ashern with her family by her side, Anna Gumbrill aged 88 years of Eriksdale, MB. Anna was born on September 24, 1919 in the Eriksdale District. She received her education at the Nyland District School and the Orangeville School in MacGregor, MB. Later in life she returned to school and completed her grade 12 equivalency. Most recently Harold and Anna celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary. She was a longtime member of the Eriksdale Legion and the New Horizons Club. Anna loved to listen to old time music and enjoyed dancing and quilting. She is survived by her husband Harold, a daughter Adele, sons Ross (Sandy), Boyd (Doreen), her grandchildren Ronnie, Sheena, Janine, Aaron and two sisters Mona and Greta, along with many good friends. She was predeceased by her parents Olaf and Gerda, a brother Adolf (Johnny), a sister Martha, a son Edwin along with her granddaughter Debbie. A private family graveside service will be held at the Eriksdale Municipal Cemetery with Melanie Kauppila officiating. The family would like to thank the staff at the E.M. Crowe Memorial Hospital in Eriksdale, the Lakeshore General Hospital in Ashern and the Personal Care Home in Ashern for the wonderful care mom received.
