Jack was the adored son of the late John Gurzon and Lorna Rutherford Harvey. Jack's quality of life was markedly enhanced by the depth and endurance of his mother's love, unwavering commitment, and selfless devotion to him throughout her life living with him in their family home. Jack is survived by his only sister Margie Acker and her daughters Becky Conarroe and Lori Maleea Acker; by his beloved cousin and friend Bob Millman, who supported and cared for him with such great compassion, understanding and empathy for many years; and cousins, Alison Kennedy, Hart Millman, Peter Collins, Sue Collins and Nancy Collins. Jack graduated from the University of Manitoba with a B.A. in Economics. In his early years Jack was an amazing photographer and avid gardener, and he loved his time at Sandy Hook throughout his life. His quiet, gentle presence will be greatly missed at the St. Norbert Personal Care Home where he was looked after so lovingly.
