DEBORAH RUTH ZACK September 6, 1953 July 22, 2008 Peacefully, on Tuesday, July 22, at the Riverview Health Centre Palliative Care Unit, Debby succumbed to pancreatic cancer six weeks after her diagnosis. She was predeceased by her parents Abraham and Hannah. She leaves to mourn her passing her brother Larry, his wife Stephanie and their children Shannon (Greg), Mark and David; her sister Diane and children Louise (David) and Sarah (Shawn); many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins; and a large number of longtime good friends. Debby was one of the kindest and most generous persons anyone could hope to know. She led a busy life -- working, spending time with family and friends, golfing until the snow hit the ground, and with other pursuits like photography all her life. She was the family historian and kept up on all widespread family news; we will be lost without her. According to Debby's wishes, a graveside service will be held at the Hebrew Sick Cemetery, 2605 McPhillips Street, on Friday, July 25 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to two of Debby's favourite institutions the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, R3T 0R3 or the Winnipeg Library Foundation, P.O.
