DELLA JOHNSON (nee PLISHKA) 1931 - 2008 Suddenly on July 20, 2008, at the Concordia Hospital, Auntie Della passed away with family by her side. She leaves to mourn her passing her nieces and nephews, Walter, Dean, Tex, Barb, Victor, George, Susie, Bill and Charles; also great and great-great nieces and nephews; dear friends and especially Thomas and Liz Rommel of Portland, Oregon. She was very active with Ukrainian Canadian Veteran's Legion Branch #141. Auntie Della was our last surviving link to our family tree. Prayers will be said on Sunday, July 27 at 4:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28 at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Fisher Branch, MB. Interment to follow in St. Nicholas Catholic Church Cemetery, Fisher Branch. Pallbearers will be her nieces and nephews. Auntie's favourite words were To tell it like it is. .
