KATHRINE (KAY) WARKENTINE (nee DUECK) 1927 - 2008 Kay Warkentine passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at the Bethania Personal Care Home in Winnipeg. She was 80 years old. Kay was predeceased by her husband John in 2005 and by her sister Carol Froese in 2007. She is survived by her son Gordon, her brother Ernie Dueck (wife Jean), sisters, Charlotte Barg and Agnes Ward, and many nieces and nephews. Thanks are extended to the staff at Bethania for providing mom with such loving care and support during the last years of her life. As per Kay's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at First Mennonite Church, 922 Notre Dame Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kay's memory may be made to the Mennonite Central Committee. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
