NORM FROOM It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Norm Froom on July 24, 2008 at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 83 years. Left to cherish Norm's memory is his loving wife Meryl of 60 years, daughter Donna and her children Kirk and Steve (Sarah) and their daughter Bailey, son Glen (Laurie) and their children Cara and Caleigh, son David, sister Marie, brother-in-law Roy, his favourite furry friend Misty as well as many nieces and nephews. Norm delivered for Meals on Wheels, had a passion for golf, curling and fishing. Family was Norm's priority and he took great pride in his grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1P6, or to Meals on Wheels, 500-283 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2B5. Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the McClure United Church, located at 533 Greenwood. Chapel Lawn 885-9715

I had the opportunity to work with Norm many times during our meals on wheels shifts, and he was gracious enough to pick me up before, and drive me home after each shift, a truly gracious and caring fellow indeed, all who knew him, family, friend and meals volunteer alike, will surely miss him. sure hope there's a meals on wheels service up in heaven for you to Volunteer at, we sure were all grateful to call you our friend. - Posted by: Charles pearce (Friend, and server) on: Apr 14, 2015
