GLORIA JUNE BRINE (nee DICKINSON) June 10, 1951 July 25, 2008 On July 25, 2008, Gloria June Brine passed away after a brief battle with cancer. She has been reunited with her loving mother Ellen Kathleen Dickinson. We are all so glad that her pain has ended and she is in a better place. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to everyone that had the pleasure of being part of her life. Gloria will be sadly missed by her soul mate and best friend Joseph Brine (My Gloria) - they would have been celebrating there 30th wedding anniversary on September 2, 2008; sister Linda Miller (husband Romeo and son Earl); sons, Randy Brine (wife Mandy Brine) and Quentin Brine (girlfriend Alicia Jones) and grandchildren, Brittany and Brandyn. Gloria was a caring, wonderful person with a great sense of humour, but she also had a little bit of a wicked sense of humour and liked to play practical jokes. We wish to express our thanks to Dr. Demsus and all the doctors and nurses at the Selkirk and District General Hospital. A special thanks to R.N. Carol, who formed a special bond with Gloria. We appreciate the respect and loving care from all the staff. We also want to thank all of our relatives and friends for loving Gloria and supporting right until the end. We will miss your laugh and your lovely face. A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 31 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 18 Main Street, Selkirk, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gloria's memory may be made to CancerCare, MB.
