PHILLIP PETER SAWKEY It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Phillip Peter Sawkey announces the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother on July 25, 2008 in his home. Phillip will be lovingly remembered and sorrowfully missed by his wife of 48 years, Rosemary Jean; daughters, Debbie (Mike) and Wendy (Edward); sons Darrell and Calvin (Charlene); grandchildren, Amber, Christine, Jennifer, Shane, Brittany, Aaron, Jenna, Haley; great-granddaughters, Allanah, Irelynn and Madison; brother Louis (Lesia) and family. He was predeceased by his father Phillip in 1961, mother Netta in 1989 and sister Phillis in 2007. Phillip was an avid golfer, as well as a 4th degree Knight of Columbus. A memorial service will be held at St. Dominic Savio Parish, 14406-62 St., Edmonton, on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute, 11560 University Avenue, Edmonton, AB T6G 1Z2.
