SARLA RANI BAHL August 28, 1930 - July 27, 2008 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sarla Rani Bahl, deeply loved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and a friend. Peacefully on Sunday, July 27, 2008 in the evening at the age of 78, passed away at home with her family by her side. She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her children, Manju (Harry Malik), Subhash (Poyie), Raj (Pramila) and Kushal. She will also be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Mala, Anita, Navin, Kabuli (Vicky), Ankit and Kiran and her only great-grandchild Sonia and her sister and many nephews and nieces in Canada and India. She had been a housewife all her life and was a very religious person by nature. She went on many pilgrimages to holy places in India and regularly visited the Hindu Temple in Winnipeg. The family wishes to extend a very special thank you to all of the relatives and friends for offering their condolence by visiting and by phoning. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at 3.00 p.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, at 1291 McGillivray Blvd., followed by Shanti Path at 7:00 p.m. in Hindu Temple at 854 Ellice Avenue.
