Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFAIRLIE WRAY KINKEAD August 8, 1955 - July 25, 2008 It is with the greatest sorrow that we announce the passing of an amazing man. Fairlie Wray Kinkead tragically passed away on July 25, 2008. He leaves to mourn his wife Cindy, daughters, Jennifer (Shea) Land, Charissa (Blayne), Brandy (Matt); two grandsons, Ethan and Wyatt Land; Ron (Lynette), their children, Daniel, Alanna and Michelle Larson; his brothers, Ben (Debbie), Kevin (Charlene), Bob (Val), Scot (Vienna); his nieces and nephews, Clint (Tracy), Tammy (Sam), Benjamin (Dayna), Patti, Amanda (Trevor), Holly (Jeff), Kevin, Lacey (Richard), Sydney, Austin, Cauy, Gage, Klayton; his faithful construction crew Mike, Al, and Teddy. Along with far too many family and friends to name. He was predeceased by his parents, Audrey and Bill. Fairlie was born on August 8, 1955 in Winnipeg, MB. He lived in Argyle, MB until he moved to Eriksdale in 1966 where he went to school and helped his family run the farm. When Fairlie was 16, he quit school and started working for Frank Williment doing construction. On November 8, 1980 he married Cindy Burdett. Shortly after, he started his own company, Kinkead Contracting. During his short life, he accomplished many great achievements, his three greatest ones are his daughters. Fairlie loved his grandsons and spent a lot of time with them, teaching them as many bad things as he could. All of which we are sure both will remember and repeat for years to come. Fairlie was a very generous man who would give you the shirt off his back. He would help anyone whether a family member, a friend or a complete stranger. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 1, 2008 at the Eriksdale Recreational Centre with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. A private family interment will be held at the Eriksdale Municipal Cemetery following the service. Pallbearers will be Ben, Kevin, Bob and Scot Kinkead, Ron Larson and Al Helsloot. Honourary pallbearers for Fairlie that day will be his grandsons, Ethan and Wyatt Land and his good friend Mike Plaster. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the E.M. Crowe Memorial Hospital Guild - in care of Irene Sigurdson, Box 474, Eriksdale, MB R0C 0W0. Arrangements by: Arnason Funeral Home Ashern-Lundar (204) 768-2072 1-866-323-3593
