Date of Passing: Jul 26, 2008
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKAREN JANZ (nee BURIK) February 4, 1954 - July 26, 2008 Our beloved Karen left us to be with the Lord on July 26, 2008 at the St. Boniface Hospital. She was predeceased by her father John. She also leaves to mourn her husband Paul; son Adam; mother Ann; brothers Rick (Joy), Terry (Vali), many nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends. Karen was always her daddy's little girl and her mother's little angel, and they loved her so very, very much. Karen was very strong in her faith and conviction, dedicated to her son Adam, held special affection for her dogs, and demonstrated her love to others. As Karen was growing up, she participated in many church activities and retreats and this passion of the Lord carried her through to minister to those downtrodden in life. Her son Adam was always in her eyes, her guidance, and her love. Karen fought very courageous and private battles with cancer, and eventually the Lord took her into His presence. Dear Father in Heaven: Please keep her in your tender loving care. The memories of all the special years we've shared will remain in our hearts and she will continue to walk with us forever. Loved forever and sadly missed by all those close to her heart. Until we meet again. There will be a prayer service at the Christian Life Assembly, 1042 Jefferson Ave. at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 1 with interment to follow. Karen will rest beside her father at Brookside Cemetery. There will also be a celebration of her life at the Christian Life Assembly church with fellowship to follow on Saturday, August 2 at 2:00 p.m.

How I miss you so very much, Auntie Karen. You poured into my life the time you were in it. You graduated to Heaven some years ago already, but you are never far from my thoughts. You are always in my heart. Looking forward to seeing you again soon, either at that trumpet call or when I too go Home to be with the Lord. I love you and miss you so very much. Until we meet again. - Posted by: Julie Plaza (Friend but like family) on: Jan 24, 2023
