Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHAZEL EMILY LOWE (KENNEY) It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Hazel on July 27, 2008 at the Concordia Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Mom was born on March 28, 1925 in Pilot Mound, MB where she lived until moving to Winnipeg in 1945. She married William Lowe in 1949 and they lived in Churchill, MB in the early years of their marriage but eventually settled in Winnipeg. Hazel worked for the City of Winnipeg as a park worker for 15 years before retiring at age 65; she especially enjoyed her position as attendant at Rainbow Stage for five summers. After retirement she took a much enjoyed holiday to Mexico with her family. Mom devoted her life to her children. She was blessed with two sons, Donald and Robert (Alice); with three grandchildren, Tracy (Scott), Canaan and Fletcher; three great-grand-children, Navhshae, Brindee and Linnea, also left to mourn Hazel is her brother Barry Kenney. Her nephews, Barry, Mark (Tonia); niece Iris (Norman); great-nephews, Kodie, Tyler, Koaltyn; great-niece Nikole, all of High Level, Alberta. Predeceased by her mother Martha Kenney; father Conway Kenney; husband William Lowe; brother Wilmer Kenney and sisters-in-law, Alberta Kenney and Margaret Kenney. Our sincere thanks to the ICU staff at Concordia Hospital for your kind and gentle care of Mom. A celebration of Mom's life will take place at Jehovah's Witness Arlington Congregation, 1060 Wolever Ave., Winnipeg, MB, Thursday, August 7, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you make a donation to a charity of your choice.
