EMILE JOSEPH JEAN DESAULNIERS Peacefully, on Saturday, August 2, 2008, Emile Joseph Jean Desaulniers passed away, with his family by his side at the Red River Valley Lodge in Morris, MB at the age of 84. Emile is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years Fabiola; children, Annette, Rachel (Brent Chubaty), Luc (Joanne Storey), Nicole (Wayne Macintosh), Daniel, Marielle (Gary Dyck), Lucie (Michel Morris), Adele (Bruno Bevacqua); 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, two step granddaughters; two step great-grandchildren; brother Victor (Simone Morin); one sister Yvonne Jutras, numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Xaverie and Sidonie; his brothers, Jules, Achilles, Arthur, Aurele, Claude, Leon, Georges and Raymond and his sister Leonne. Emile will be fondly remembered by all who knew him for his integrity, work ethics, and his love of our Lord Savior Jesus Christ. Mass of celebration will take place on Friday August 8, 2008 at 2:00 .pm. Honorary Pallbearers are Normand Desaulniers, Martial Desaulniers, Tom Chubaty, Tim Chubaty, Jeff Chubaty, Nelson Laube, Brendon Desaulniers, Alain Gauthier, Stephane Gauthier and Joel Bevacqua. Inurnment of cremated remains to follow immediately after the mass; followed by a reception at the Morris Legion Hall, 161 Charles Street W, Morris, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations in Emile's memory may be made to Cancer Care Manitoba or The Heart and Stroke Foundation. The family would like to extend sincere thanks to ALL the staff at the Morris General Hospital and the Red River Valley Lodge. Special thanks to Dr. Fraser, Dr. Kolakowski and Dr. Manness for their compassion and care shown to our father. Gratitude and thanks to the wonderful nursing staff who gave Dad the special care he needed in his final hours. You are sincerely compassionate people. We are thankful for the love and support our family has given to each other and special thanks to our sister Marielle for taking on the role of primary care giver to Dad.
