Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIRENE EMILY WRUBLESKI (nee KEMPIN) On Saturday, August 2, 2008, Irene Wrubleski, cherished wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister, of Winnipeg, passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Remaining to forever cherish Irene's memory are her husband, James; her daughters, Jacqueline Haase (Christoph), Kimberly Ward (Glenn), Jennifer Hiebert (Michael); three beloved grandchildren, Peyton, Taylor and Yorrick; her mother, brothers and their families. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched. Irene was a strong willed woman who faced her illness with grace and courage. She treasured her family above everything and was tremendously proud of her grandchildren. She was a fabulous cook and a talented seamstress. Divine Liturgy will be sung on Thursday, August 7 at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Basil's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 202 Harcourt Street, with Rev. Fr. Ernie Hafichuk and Rev. Fr. Isidore Dziadyk, O.S.B.M., presiding. A private family interment will be held in Saskatchewan. We would like to extend special thanks to the Grace Hospital Cancer Care and Palliative Care. Our family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
