ELAINE VIOLA DUBOIS (nee BURKE) Peacefully on Saturday, August 2, 2008, Elaine Dubois passed away at the age of 68 years. Left to cherish her memory are loving husband Claude of Portage la Prairie, MB; children Valerie Fraser of Atikokan, ON, Gerald Fraser (Dawn) of Atikokan, ON, Greg Fraser (Pam) of Wandering River, AB, Carol Houle (Tony) of Oakville, MB; stepchildren Monique Nicholls (Randy) of Red Deer, AB, Dave Dubois (Darla) of Portage la Prairie, MB, Yvonne Dubois of Winnipeg; mom Anne Maryk of Winnipeg; sister Betty McLaughlin of Winnipeg; Aunt Edith Ruston; stepbrothers, Michael Maryk (Joyce) and Richard Maryk (Linda); numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Elaine's life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 7, 2008 led by Wilma Shirriff at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel, 56 Royal Road S., Portage la Prairie, MB. If friends so wish, flowers would be appreciated or donations may be made in Elaine's memory to the Heart Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Association or Multiple Sclerosis Society.
