JAMES ROBERTSON GREEN Suddenly on July 31, 2008, Jim passed away at Grace Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara, and devoted son, Robbie. He is also survived by his brothers Rob, Eddy, sisters Frances, Pattie, Sheila, sisters-in-law Helen (Don), Pauline, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Mary and father William and siblings, Gordon and Peggy. Jim was born on November 7, 1948 in Buckie Scotland. He immigrated to Canada in 1972, bringing his skills as a carpenter. He branched out into real estate in 1986 and for the last number of years worked for Maximum Realty Ltd. Jim was Past Master of Fort Osborne Lodge 144 in 1987 and was very involved with Ancient Landmark No. 3. He was Past Patron of Queen Winnipeg No. 1 OES. In 1994-5, he served this position with his wife Barbara. He was especially proud when Robbie became a member of the Craft. When his son played football, he was President of the Charleswood Broncos. An annual event for Jim and Robbie was to go down to Minneapolis to see the Vikings play. Prayers and a masonic service will be held on Wednesday, August 6 at 7:00 p.m. with the funeral service on Thursday, August 7 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 4588 Roblin Blvd. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be sent to The Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200 - 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
