Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryOLGA BEHUN (RUCZAK) September 4, 1922 August 3, 2008 Peacefully on Sunday, August 3, 2008 our precious mother, grandmother, companion and friend Olga, passed away peacefully at Vista Park Lodge. Olga is lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Marie (Frank) of Winnipeg and Patricia (Gordon) of St. John, New Brunswick; her two grandchildren Shawn (Nicole) of Edmonton and Sharlene (Shane) of Victoria, BC; her brother Mike (Stefanie) of British Columbia and sister Anne (Peter) of Lansing, Illinois as well as many precious nieces and nephews. Olga was predeceased by her husband William, her parents James and Maria Ruczak, brothers Joe (Mamie), John (Mary), Toni and sisters Marjorie and Lee (Rudy) as well as her loving uncle, Mike Kiziuk. Olga was born in Hazelridge, Manitoba on September 4, 1922. She attended school and church with her brothers and sisters on the farm and later moved to Winnipeg. Olga married William in her early twenties and they had two daughters, Patricia and Marie. Olga was a homemaker and devoted to her family. She was a landlady for over 40 years prior to her retirement. Mom's house was always a home of love . That love was extended to her Uncle Mike and her sister Marjorie, who came to live with us. Mom welcomed them with open arms and love! Olga cared for and lived with her beloved sister Marjorie for over 30 years. They shared a very special bond and were great company for each other. Our precious Olga loved to cook and bake and take care of people. She loved nature and walked every day. Olga loved the sun and her favourite destination was Phoenix, Arizona. She loved visiting her sister Lee in Texas, brother Joe in California and sister Anne in Lansing, Illinois. She spent the last seven years of her life at Vista Park Lodge Personal Care Home. The Alzheimer's dementia slowly took away her physical body, but not her spirit. She remained sweet, loving and caring until the very end. The family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to every one who took such precious care of Olga at Vista Park Lodge. It truly was a home where our mother was treated with compassion, hugs, kisses and love. As well, special appreciation to so many family members and friends who visited and supported Olga right to the end! Your kindness and love will always be remembered and never forgotten! Cremation has taken place. Olga's life will be celebrated on Friday, August 8, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home with luncheon to follow. Father Isaie Blanchette officiating. Flowers are gratefully declined. In memory of Olga, donations can be made to the Humane Society (45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg) or Siloam Mission (300 Princess St., Winnipeg). YOU WILL REMAIN IN ALL OF OUR HEARTS FOREVER. Rest In Peace Vichnaya Pam'yat GLEN LAWN FUNERAL HOME 982-7550
