BLANDINE ELIZABETH (MUZZIE) MCLELLAN 1919 - 2008 With great sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, known to all as Muzzie , peacefully at the Grace Hospital on August 4, 2008. Predeceased by her husband Donald (Scotty) and her eldest son Donald. Survived by her sister Ida and brother Frank. She leaves behind her children, Bea, Dorothy, Pat, Sherrin, Rod, Jean, Bruce, Jim, Ed, Stu and Kevin, her 27 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Mom's life was her family and she was the heart of our family and such an important part of all our lives. We will miss her caring, strength and spirit more than words can say. She will be in our hearts forever. In tears we saw you sinking, We watched you fade away, You suffered much in silence, You fought so hard to stay, You faced your task with courage, Your spirit did not bend, But still you kept on fighting Until the very end. God saw you get tired, When a cure was not to be, So He put His arms around you, And whispered, Come to Me . So when we saw you sleeping, So peaceful, free from pain, We could not wish you back, To suffer that again. You didn't deserve what you went through, So He took you home to rest. God's garden must be beautiful, For He only takes the best. Private family service.
