BERTHA HILL Passed away peacefully at Tuxedo Villa in Winnipeg early August 5, 2008 at the age of 96. Bertha was born to Dave and Bertha McIlquham in Alexander, MB on June 4, 1912. She married Harry Hill and they spent the majority of their days farming in Alexander before retiring to Brandon in 1977. They spent several enjoyable winters in Arizona. Bertha worked a number of years at Assiniboine Hospital and then volunteered many hours to Fairview Personal Care Home. Due to Harry's failing health they moved to Winnipeg in 2002. Bertha was predeceased by her mother, father, husband Harry and siblings Mary, Sandy, Gracie, Herman, Jessie, Elsie, Gordon and Evelyn. Left to mourn her passing are, daughter Florence, son-in-law Frank and several nieces and nephews. Thanks so much to Tuxedo Villa, especially Station 2 for the excellent care given to Mom. We were all treated so well. A Graveside Service will be held at Alexander Cemetery on Saturday, August 9 at 1:30 p.m. REST IN PEACE, MOM CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
