RAYMOND ALEXANDER RUSSELL It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Raymond Alexander Russell on August 3, 2008 at St. Boniface Hospital after a lengthy battle with cancer. Raymond was born in Winnipeg, MB on November 9, 1927. Ray will be greatly missed by his beloved wife Lillian of 59 years, his daughters Nancy (Tom), Jackie (Brian) and sons John (Susan) and Bud (Michelle). He was blessed with ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild, all for whom he was an inspiration and a respected mentor. Ray is also survived by brothers Ken and Bill, sisters Dorothy, Ruth and Marion. Ray was a machinist with too many talents to list. Ray was employed by TransCanada Airlines, C.A.E., S.A.E., and Pinawa Atomic Energy Plant. Ray enjoyed fishing, golfing, hunting and was an avid Bison Football Fan. Ray will be fondly remembered by his many friends. Special thanks to the Palliative Care Unit at St. Boniface Hospital. Respecting Ray's wishes a private family service has already taken place.
