ELEANOR RACHUK (nee RACH) February 8, 1934 - August 6, 2008 Peacefully, on Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at the age of 74 years, mom, beloved wife of Tony of Stead, MB, passed away at the Pine Falls Hospital with her girls by her side. She will be sadly missed by her devoted husband Tony of 52 years, her daughters Bev and Yvonne and son-in-law Wayne Gunning, brothers Harold (Evelyn), Martin (Emily), Lloyd (Elaine), sister-in-law Margaret and brother-in-law Mike Rachuk. She is also survived by her special sons Doug Carr and Art Lafleche (Barb), girls Danielle and Niki also many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Fred and Helen and her infant sister. Mom was a very loving and caring person. She leaves a legacy of wonderful memories. To many people she was known as Mom . Her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be missed by many. Prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 8 at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue East, Beausejour, MB. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 9 at St. Jude's Anglican Church, Grand Marais, MB with Rev. Judy Whitmore officiating. Friends may view at the chapel prior to the prayer service and also at the church prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Jackfish Lake Cemetery.
