RUTH CAMERON PERDUE (nee THOMPSON) Died peacefully at the Post Inn Village in Oakville on Monday August 4. Ruth was born April 17, 1914 in Winnipeg, where she lived until 1965, moved to Australia for five years, then Toronto and finally, Oakville. Where ever she lived, she had many friends who cherished her love of life, her great sense of humour, her knowledge of music, art, and history (especially the Royal Family) and her excellent golf game. Ruth was married (1940) to our dear father and grandfather, George William Perdue (1911 1988), also of Winnipeg and Toronto. Ruth will be greatly missed by all who knew her as a kind and gracious woman. She is survived by son Peter Perdue (Mary) (Oakville), and daughters Alix Santoro (Vancouver) and Jane Perdue (Toronto). Her grandchildren are David (Yvonne), Colin and James Perdue and Lisa Kelly; Angela, Michael and Patrick Santoro; and Sarah Jane and Tessa Wise. We are very grateful to the staff at the Post Inn Village. A Memorial Service celebrating Ruth's life will be held in the near future.
