DOROTHY ELVA PELECHATY (nee SALISBURY) Peacefully, on August 2, 2008 at Riverview Health Center, Dorothy passed on after a lengthy illness. She was born on November 15, 1929 in Winnipeg, MB. She was predeceased by her husbands Charles Morrison, and Mike Pelechaty, and longtime friend John Lulewich. Her son Brian Morrison, three brothers Alan Salisbury, William (Bill) Salisbury, Lawrence Salisbury, and her mother Mary Salisbury. She has two daughters in Winnipeg, Marlene Wasnick and Joan Vereb and their spouses, Bob Wasnick and Les Vereb. She had three grandchildren, James Wasnick (Teresa), Adam Vereb (Deanne), and David Vereb (Amy). Also, she had two great-grandchildren Nelson Vereb, and Daniel Wasnick. She had many nieces, nephews and friends. She will be greatly missed here on earth, but now she resides in heaven with our Lord and Saviour. Thanks be to God! A private interment was held on August 7, 2008 at St. Vital Cemetery. Donations to the Manitoba Lung Association, will be gratefully received, in her memory.
