GLENDA KEBALO I was born June 23, 1948 in Windsor, Berkshire, England. I was the much loved daughter of George and Lorna Tunnell. I came to Canada in 1969 on a quest to see more of the world. Winnipeg proved to be the friendliest place on earth and of course my husband and best friend, Peter was there. I am survived by my husband Peter; my mother Lorna Tunnell; my son and his wife, Nick and Kim and two grandchildren, Kiarra and Kayleigh and my daughter, Kristin. Also surviving are my brother, Tiff and sister, Sue and their families, who reside in England. Thanks for the ride, it was incredible and I enjoyed every bit of it. I want to thank: My family for always filling my life with joy, happiness and interesting diversions along the way! My friends for always being there for me; My family at Grace Oncology for their support, kindness and help. My pets for loving me unconditionally. Do not stand at my grave and forever weep I am not there; I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn's rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circles flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and forever cry. I am not there. I did not die. - Unknown. Memorial service will be held Tuesday, August 12 at 10:00 a.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. To those planning on attending, my request is to please wear something colourful! Not black. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any No Kill Pet Shelter, example: D'Arcy's ARC, 1793 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, Manitoba R3J 0E8. I just came across Glenda’s obituary. What a heartbreak to have died so young. I was a friend of Peter. I am hoping he is doing well as is the kids and grandkids. - Posted by: pat dressel (Aquaintence) on: Mar 26, 2023
