Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANTON KIRK Peacefully, on Sunday, August 3, 2008, Anton Kirk, aged 93 years of Winnipeg. Anton was born on October 21, 1914. Predeceased by his wife Patty in 1995. Anton and Patty had been longtime supporters of the Cultural and Arts community in Winnipeg. He had volunteered many hundreds of hours at music festivals, museums, and senior care homes. Anton had lived demonstrating an outstanding philanthropy and dedication to the betterment of the community. He will be lovingly remembered by all who knew him. He proudly served his country in the Second World War on HMCS Uganda in the Pacific theater. Home is the sailor, Home from the sea. Prayers will be sung 7:00 p.m. Sunday, August 10 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 11 at Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral of St. Mary the Protectress, 820 Burrows Ave. with Rev. Dr. J. Buciora officiating. Interment will follow in Glen Eden Cemetery. KORBAN FUNERAL CHAPEL 956-2193
