JOHN GAUTHIER It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of John Gauthier on August 7, 2008, at the age of 88 years. Predeceased by his wife Christina (2001). Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Eugenie and Giselle (Charley); his grandson André; his siblings, Edouard (Marian), Gerry (Tillie), Madeline, Lucille; brother-in-law Ken and sister-in-law Mina along with many nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Adrienne Berard for her care and compassion and the staff of Grace Hospital 3South. A prayer service will be held on Wednesday, August 13 at 7:00 p.m. in St. Charles Roman Catholic Church, 320 St. Charles St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 14 at 1:00 p.m. also in St. Charles Roman Catholic Church. John will be placed to rest in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's memory to the Heart Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6. The Coutu family in care of the arrangements: E.J. COUTU CO.
