MARJORIE NIEMAN Peacefully, on Sunday, August 10, 2008, with family by her side, Marjorie passed away at the Seven Oaks Hospital, at the age of 77 years. She was born in Winnipeg on April 9, 1931. She was predeceased by her husband Leo, mother Elizabeth Shlanda, brothers Glen, Robert, Harold (all in infancy), John Buhl, sister Shirley Duch. She is survived by her daughters, Sandra (John), Sharon, son Larry, siblings Henry (Wanda), May (John), Fred (Gail), Lucy (Bob), Richard (Leona) and Margaret, three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Marjorie enjoyed cooking and volunteer work. In addition she loved pets and owned many cats and dogs. As per her request cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 15, at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Avenue (entrance on Aubrey Street) at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Marjorie's name to a charity of one's choice.
