ELEANOR LILY ROMANOW (nee LANGE) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eleanor on Sunday, August 10, 2008 after a brief illness. She is survived by her brother Alf Lange and wife Erma of White Rock, BC, a sister-in-law Marion Lange of Brandon and numerous nieces and nephews. Eleanor was predeceased by her husband Wally in 1994, both parents, four sisters and five brothers. She was born in Emerson, MB in 1925 and moved to Kemnay as a child. She met her future husband in Brandon and after they married they settled in Winnipeg. Eleanor worked in the retail clothing industry before her retirement. She was an avid curler and a past president of the Granite Curling Club. In recent years, she enjoyed time spent at the various casinos in the area where she met many new friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. We would like to thank the staff at the Health Sciences Centre, especially those in ER, SICU, MICU and A3 for all their care during her illness. Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, August 16 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, with viewing at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow in the Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
