ROBERT WAYNE MCCAULEY December 5, 1957 August 1, 2008 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert McCauley on Friday, August 1, 2008 at the Health Sciences Centre. Robbie is survived by his dear mother, Evelyn Funk and brothers, Chuck Jr., Greg, Rick (Linda), Dave (Natillie) and 11 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Charles James McCauley and his beloved Aunt Flossie. Robert worked for many years in the health care field, particularly with the elderly and developmentally challenged adults. A creative, gifted individual, he had over 16 years' experience in the home and condominium renovation business. But Robbie will be remembered especially for his caring heart and the kindness and generosity he extended to both friends and strangers. He touched many people in his short life and brightened our lives with his flair, panache, love of beauty and infectious laugh. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. We would like to express our profound gratitude to Brad Black for the exceptional care he provided Robbie in his last year. Our sincerest thanks and appreciation to Dr. Les Gerber, to the devoted Health Sciences Centre I.C.U. staff and to the Fire Paramedic Service personnel for their compassionate support.
