Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNICHOLAS KALUPAR On Monday, August 11, 2008, at the age of 75, Nicholas Kalupar, passed away after a brief illness at the Grace Hospital. Nicholas was born in Pine Ridge, MB and raised in what is now Birds Hill Park. Nicholas will be greatly missed by sons Kerry (Rhonda), Robert, granddaughter Breanon and Pat. Nick was predeceased by his parents, Mike and Katie Kalupar and by his brothers, Mike, Joe, Bill, Steve, Peter, Mac and Rudy: his sister Jean: and his sisters-in-law Mary and Shirley. He is also survived by his sisters, Mary Sobiak (Bob), Anne Swidnicki (Mike), Irene Ross (Cliff), Shirley Schultz (Art) and Vivian Sedbauer (Paul); his brothers, Stan, Alec and Edward (Denise); brothers-in-law, Dave Guzda, Don Costin and Walter Setnor; sisters-in-law, Linda, Irene, Donna, Joan, Shiela Daly and Nellie Costin; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Nicholas was employed by the Province of Manitoba for 16 years, he worked as a golf course superintendent in Pinawa, Hecla Island and Falcon Lake. Nick's greatest enjoyments were the outdoors where he indulged in hunting, fishing, bowling, curling, golfing, snowmobiling, camping as well playing card games to all hours of the night. Memorial services will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (4000 Portage Ave.) on Thursday, August 14 at 12:30 p.m. with a reception to follow. The family wishes to thank the nurses and doctors at Grace Hospital, who made his last days comforting. CHAPEL LAWN 885-9715
