Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDWARD ADAM MILLER 1923 - 2008 It is with deep sadness, that the family announces the passing of our husband, father and grandfather on Sunday, August 10, 2008. Ed will be dearly missed by Betty, his loving wife of 60 years. He leaves to cherish his memory his seven children, Glenn (Lynne), Janis (Bill), Gerry, Richard (Ingrid), Colleen (Bobby), Steven (Sharon) and Craig (Kim) as well as his eight grandchildren, Wade (Kirrily), Sheryl, Christopher, Cory, Cari-Ann, Gordon, Brooke, Curtis. His family consisted of four brothers and six sisters (all predeceased). He built the family home in Winnipeg, where he resided until his passing. His lifelong interest was sports. He excelled at every sport he participated in, earning a scholarship to St. Paul's College, where he held many athletic records. Dad had a long and rewarding career in the automotive industry ending with his retirement from MPI. Dad enjoyed spending quality time with his grandchildren, in his woodworking shop and on the golf course. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, August 13 at 7:00 p.m. in the St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 2400 Portage Avenue. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 14, at 10:30 a.m. also in the church with Rev. Fr. Mark Tarrant, presiding. The family would like to thank all the staff at 3 East Riverview Health Centre, for their care and compassion.
