MONA EMMA OSTROWSKI (nee GIROUX) With deep sadness the family wishes to announce the sudden passing of Mona Emma Ostrowski, on August 9, 2008 at the age of 73 years. Mona was predeceased by her husband Stanley (1989), her father Arthur and her brother Art. Remaining to cherish her memory forever is her mother Eva Giroux (Ontario), her daughters Susie (John), Kelly (Grahame), Nina (Steve), and her son Steve. Her sisters Lorraine Ritchie, Edna Loney and families both of Ontario, and her brother Romeo. Her grandchildren, Ryan (Jessica), Susie (Peter), Trevor, Adam, Shayna, Mandy, Jenny, Jessie, Breanne, Kristopher and Daniel. Great-grandchildren Shayla, Alyssa and Jenna. Mona enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren, reading her many books and cookbooks, cooking for her family and shopping trips. She faithfully made daily phone calls to Me' Mere and frequently visited her family in Timmons. A definite highlight for Mona was her 2006 trip to Mexico. In keeping with mom's wishes a graveside service was held for family and close friends on Friday, August 15, 2008 at Green Acres.
