DORIS L. DYER Doris passed away at Calvary Place Personal Care Home on August 10, 2008. She was predeceased by her husband Laurence A. Dyer; sisters Gladys Lowe, Margaret Williams, Clare Buchanan and her brother Douglas Robertson. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces, Elaine Williams, Judy Tyson, Joan Walker and her nephews Garry and Bruce Robertson and Ron Lowe and many great and great-grand nieces and nephews. Doris worked for many years for the CNR in the superintendent's office at Grand Beach and later for Cara Industries. She and Larry spent many happy years at their cottage at Grand Beach and later at Grand Marais which she generously shared with her extended family. She loved to travel and one of her favourite places was Hawaii. But her greatest love was for her pets. In fact she never met a dog she didn't love. The family would like to thank the staff at Calvary Place for their kind and compassionate care of Doris during her time with them. A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in Doris' memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 0R3.
