Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDR. GANESAAL ARUNACHALAMPILLAI Loving mother of Dr. Kanchana merged with her dear Lord Sathya Sai Baba on August 14, 2008. She lived the teachings of her beloved Lord practically by loving all and serving all. She touched the lives of everyone with whom she came into contact with. She was chosen by Baba to start the Sai movement in Sri Lanka. She served in Sri Lanka until Baba called her to serve in the Sathya Sai Hospital, Whitefiled. Subsequently, she was asked by Baba to start the Sathya Sai Baba Centre of Don Mills. The bhajans given to her (Devotional songs Sai Geetham) by Baba will immortalize her existence. She was a true visionary a light in the Sai Community, a leader by her fine example and firm convictions. She was extremely generous, loving and compassionate and gave so completely to anyone who had the privilege of knowing her which lightened up even the nurses who were taking care of her while she was in the hospital. She was the principled person, with strong convictions and a firm faith in her Lord. She was unafraid to do what was right and outspoken in her commitment to do the right thing. Her philosophy was, when we get so much from the society, we should reciprocate by serving the society. True to her beliefs, she started service projects in India such as running free medical camps and a school for the less privileged in India. She will be missed by a large number of friends and family in Sri Lanka, India and Canada. She is preceded by parents, her younger sister Seetha and her younger brother Viswanathan. She is survived by her daughter Kanchana, two sisters Lalitha and Rameswari and their families, her nieces and nephews. She is with her beloved Lord and May she live in eternal bliss.
