HELEN HUPALO January 12, 1925 - August 14, 2008 On August 14, 2008 at Seven Oaks General Hospital, Helen Hupalo (nee Shewchuk), aged 83, passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Survived by her husband Victor, daughter Marjorie (Ron), son Eddy (Karen), daughter Diane (Reid), granddaughter Karie (Kevin), grandson Calvin, great-grandchildren: Kailey and Joshua, sisters: Mary Kolson, Ann Safronetz, Kay Dykun, sister-in-law, Helen Shewchuk and Jimy the four legged grandchild. Helen was born in Valley River, Manitoba, January 12, 1925. She married Victor Hupalo, September 1, 1946. Helen and her husband Victor farmed in the Sifton area until 1966 when the family moved to Winnipeg. In 1986 Helen retired from Perma-Lite. After retiring Helen enjoyed gardening, reading and loved spending time with her family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Green Acres Cemetery.
