DEBORAH NINA JEAN ITTERMAN (nee MACKAY) September 14th, 1952 August 17th, 2008 After a hard fought battle with cancer, Deborah passed away peacefully at the St. Boniface Hospital with her family at her bedside. She was predeceased by her father James and brother Jeffrey. She is survived by her companion and soulmate Eloi Leroy Delorme, her mother Kathryn and her two sons James (Samantha) and Jason. Surviving also are her two brothers Dennis (Helene) and David and best friend Nancy. Also her grandchildren Coral and Willow, niece Jessica (Linton) and her nephews Craig, Carson and Leslie. She will be remembered by her many friends at Air Canada. The family would like to acknowledge the very special care given to Deborah by the staff of the Palliative Care Ward at the St. Boniface Hospital. As per her wishes there will be no funeral but a family celebration of Deborah's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Deborah's name to CancerCare Manitoba.

This is my grandma, I never got to meet her because she passed away when I was under a year old, I don’t remember her in my brain but I remember her in my heart. I know not everyone believes in spirituality and ghosts and stuff but I think she reached out to me today, it was very comforting, it still is as I’m writing this. I don’t even know what thoughts to put down, but what I’ll say is that I love her, even if I don’t know her, and that says more than any of my words can.
