JEAN WANAMAKER Peacefully on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at the Maples Personal Care Home, Jean passed away at the age of 94 years. Jean is survived by her sister Mary Grywinski, son-in-law Edward Kalyniuk and his children, Dale (Lori) and Darren (Chantal), daughter-in-law Carol Wanamaker and her children, Darlene (Ralph), Daryl (Marita) and Deb (Mike), numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph, daughter Shirley, son Kenneth and brother Paul. Jean was born on March 9, 1914 in Broadvalley, MB. She moved to Winnipeg, settling in the North End to raise her family. In her later years, Baba loved spending time with her grandchildren. She had a special love for animals, especially her cats. A gathering in Jean's memory will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. A private family interment will take place at a later date. A special thank you to all the nurses and staff of the Maples Personal Care Home for the care and compassion given to Jean during her stay.
