Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY (MARIA) SCHURKO (nee DOWBUSH) On Sunday, August 17, 2008, Mary Schurko, formerly of Kilkenny, Manitoba, passed away at Holy Family Nursing Home in Winnipeg at the age of 94. Mary was predeceased by her husband Sam, brother John Dowbush, and sisters Nellie Dowbush, Katherine Sanduliak, Annie Wituk, and Doreen Borynsky. She is survived by nieces and nephews. The family would like to acknowledge the staff and volunteers at Holy Family Nursing Home for the exceptional care Mary received during her 12 year residence on St. Francis. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 23 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment to follow at 2:00 p.m. in St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Fisher Branch, MB.
