Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHARVEY RALPH FIEBELKORN December 14, 1941 August 18, 2008 After a courageous battle with cancer, Harvey passed away on Monday, August 18, 2008 at the Riverview Health Centre. Harvey will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 45 years, Ruth, son Todd and wife Alison and special grandchildren Brenden, Michael and Amanda. He is also survived by his mother, Christine and brothers and sisters, Bev (Gerry) Beck, Len (Diane), Phyllis (Colin) Sutherland, Delores (Bill McCurry) and Randy (Debbie) as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Harvey will also be sadly missed by Ruth's family, mother-in-law Bernice McClinchey, brother George (Nova), sisters Helen (Don) Noble, Mary Bell and Grace McCall, who were all very special to him. Harvey was predeceased by his father Bill, sister and brother-in-law Audrey and Doug Willis, father-in-law John and brothers-in-law Brian and Dave. Harvey's grandchildren were very special to him and he was very proud of them and all their achievements. He could always be found at all their sporting events. Harvey and Ruth enjoyed traveling across Canada and various destinations in the United States, including Las Vegas, Hawaii, California and Mexico. He also enjoyed fishing, golfing and spending time helping his nephew on the farm. Harvey spent five years in the Air Force and was employed in various construction and trucking industries and retired from Gardewine in March of 2007 after 25 years of service. The family wishes to express sincere thanks to Dr. Crow and the nurses and staff of 3 East Palliative Care at Riverview as well as Dr. Czaykowski and his primary nurse, Denise at CancerCare. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 22 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk with Pastor Stan Richards officiating. Interment will follow in the Selkirk Lutheran Cemetery. His pallbearers will be grandson Brenden Fiebelkorn and Len and Randy Fiebelkorn, Colin Sutherland, George McClinchey and Lyle Willis. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, R2E 9Z9 or Riverview Health Centre, 3 East Palliative Care, 1 Morley Ave., Winnipeg, R3L 2P4.
