Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE (BILLI) BUTCHART Peacefully at the Whitemouth Personal Care Home, on Monday, August 18, 2008, Mrs. Anne Billi Butchart passed away at the age of 99 years. She was predeceased by her husband Ralph in 1995. Remaining to cherish her memory are her sister Connie (Bill) McKellar, daughter Jacy (Lorne) Chestnut and son Glenn (Leona), grandchildren: Sharon, Ralph and Scott Wright, Kimberly Richards and Garnet Butchart and four great-grandchildren. She also leaves extended family; Tricia (Shannon) Martin, Robin (Rhonda) Chestnut and two great-grandchildren. Billi enjoyed a rich and full life. A teacher, she taught in several schools in Ontario and Manitoba. After retiring as vice-principal of the Lac du Bonnet Park Avenue School she continued to substitute teach well into her 70's. She and her husband Ralph travelled continually throughout their lives visiting South America, Europe, Great Britain and the Soviet Union. Their favourite destination was Mexico through which they travelled extensively. As well, Billi enjoyed 28 happy winters with family and friends in Mission, Texas. A memorial service will be held in the St. John's Anglican Church, Lac du Bonnet on Tuesday, August 26 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend John Giroux officiating. A family interment will precede the service. The family would like to thank the staff at the Whitemouth Personal Care Home for their kind and compassionate care of our mother during her stay of almost three years. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Whitemouth Personal Care Home or a charity of one's choice.
