RITA BROWN April 24, 1952 - August 20, 2008 Suddenly on Wednesday, August 20, 2008, at her residence Rita Emilia Marie Brown passed away at the age of 56 years. She was born in Kenora, Ontario and lived most of her life in Winnipeg. Rita's strong spirit made an everlasting impact on the many people she met throughout her life. She was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Elizabeth. Rita is survived by her husband Ken Swaikoski, sons Scott and Trevor, daughter Amber, five brothers: Robert (Doreen), Ricky, Tom (Darlene), Tim (Val), and Kelly, grandchildren: Curtis, Tayler and Mairi-Rose as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends left to celebrate and cherish the memory of a woman who was an angel to many. Viewing will take place on Monday, August 25, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service and interment will follow on Tuesday, August 26 at 2:00 p.m. Both held at Glen Eden Funeral Home located at 4477 Main Street.
